My commissions are currently closed while I take some time to focus on personal projects.

I'll be re-opening them when I am ready. Please check back here for updates!

Interested in a custom piece of art? Read below to learn more about the commission process, then get in touch by filling out my contact form here or sending me an e-mail me at lizzydaltonart@gmail.com.

In your message please include as much info as possible about what you'd like: size, imagery, colors, medium, etc. If you're not sure that's ok, too, I can help you decide what is best for your wants and/or budget. Below are a few examples of the different kinds of media I typically use. If there is a piece of mine that you especially like the look of, please let me know! It helps a lot in letting me know how you want your commission to look.

My pricing for commissions will depend on a variety of factors, such as media, size, and complexity, with a minimum of $100. I'll ask for a 50% deposit up front, and the remaining 50% plus shipping upon completion. After receiving the deposit, I'll start by making a pencil sketch, which I'll send to you for your approval. I'll make as many edits as necessary until you're happy with the design, then start the final piece. When it's completed I'll send a photo to make sure you're happy with the final product, and I'll ship it to you when I receive final payment. If for any reason you're not happy with the finished piece and I'm not able to fix it, you can refuse it, in which case I keep the piece and the deposit.

My turnaround time for commissions is usually about 2-4 months, depending on the complexity and how full my workload is. If you have a strict deadline like a wedding or birthday that you need to have your commission completed by, please let me know!

I prefer to make pieces that are in line with my overall body work, so I may refuse if the content is something that I don’t feel will fit in with the rest of my portfolio or that won’t work with my typical style. Please be aware that I will still own rights to the work I create for you, and may decide to make prints, stickers, or other products with the finished piece.

The information above applies to individuals looking to purchase an original piece of art to hang in their home. If you are looking to commission something for your business or non-profit, or if you plan to reproduce the image for any purpose, please let me know. You can learn more about commissioning work for commercial purposes here.
